How long does a roof replacement take?
Most residential roof replacements take 1–2 days depending on size and complexity. We'll give you a specific timeline in your written quote. Permits and scheduling may add a few days before work starts.
Do you pull permits?
Yes, always. Every replacement project requires a permit, and we handle that entirely. Never work with a contractor who skips permits — it can affect your homeowner's insurance and make selling your home more difficult.
Can you work directly with my insurance company?
Absolutely. We have extensive experience with insurance claims and can accompany the adjuster, document damage, and help you understand your policy. We can't act as your public adjuster, but we advocate strongly for accurate damage documentation.
What warranty do you offer?
Happy Roof guarantees its Shingle, Metal, and Tile Workmanship for 15 years & its Flat Roof Installation for 10 years — all in writing. You also get the manufacturer's product warranty on materials (Lifetime limited on Owens Corning shingles, and varies by material for tile and metal). You get both, in writing, at closing.
How much does a new roof cost?
Pricing depends on roof size, pitch, material choice, and any underlying repairs needed. In the Tampa Bay area, residential replacements typically range from $8,000 to $25,000+. We'll give you an exact written quote after a free inspection — no guessing.
